The experts have however failed to establish a link between sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and Alzheimer's disease.

There is evidence that some people who suffer from this problem are close to suffering from pre-symptomatic dementia.

There was a twist to this smoking. Jaimie was not actually smoking but was just sucking on the end of an electronic cigarette. The 14-year-old girl thought that because the gadget did not have smoke, her new habit would not be given away.

Campaign to give patients a voice on NHS

A review is being carried out on death rates of patients and people are now being given a chance to participate in the campaign to share their experience of Lincolnshire's hospitals.

A team is being led by NHS England medical director Sir Bruce Keogh and it is reviewing United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust, which runs hospitals including Boston's Pilgrim, is one of 14 across the country to be reviewed.

Hundreds of patients had died due to sub-standard care at the mid-Staffordshire hospital and this turned out to be a scandal in which the review is being done.

Hisense reportedly releasing its new Sero 7 Android tablet in US soon

Budget Chinese tablet manufacturer Hisense is reportedly planning to launch its Android-based tablets in the US; with a new Hisense Sero 7 tablet having apparently got the clearance from the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) late last month.

The Sero 7 tablet will be Hisense's first official Google Play certified Android tablet to hit the US markets. The tablet - priced at $99 for the base model; and to be soon available from retailers like Walmart - is seemingly a highly impressive device, which will essentially bring a Google Nexus 7-like performance to the masses.

Lundberg Survey: US gas prices increase amid refinery outages

According to the Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released on Sunday, the last two weeks witnessed a sharp increase in the price of one gallon of gasoline in the US. The rise in the gasoline prices comes amid outages at the refineries in the Midwest and the West Coast.

Going by the figures released by the Lundberg Survey, the average price of one gallon of regular gasoline in the US on Sunday was $3.66; while the average cost of midgrade and premium was $3.84 per gallon and $3.98 per gallon respectively.
