Boy expelled from school for not shaving

A boy named Marc Grey, of 13 year has a skin condition and for this reason he was advised by his doctors not to shave regularly. So, young boy Marc Grey decided to grow a moustache. But he was asked by the school to cut his moustache, he refused to do it. Finally he was expelled from the school.

The decision was supported while his father, Peter declared that he would fight for this. He said that the decision was “mad and laughable”. The doctors also considered it an embarrassing decision.

Ryan, brother of Marc has also same problem. His parents, Peter and Mandy explained to Bede Academy in Blyth, Northumberland that Ryan has Pseudofolliculitis or barber’s itch. And for this reason he was advised not to shave.

The academy members agreed that Ryan would shave weekly, but he got into trouble for breaching the rule. Both the sons, Ryan and Marc have hereditary condition and were expelled from the school temporarily. Then Peter and Mandy decided to quit their children from the school.

Now they have got admission at Blyth Community College and the education ombudsman is considering the case.
