Price comparison website, Moneysupermarket. com has posted increase in its first half pre-tax profit and is in line to make further growth in profit.

The pre-tax profit has increased from £1.9m in previous year to £2.9m in the first half of the year ending on 30 June.

UK's second-biggest life insurer in terms of assets, Legal & General group has reported 34 percent increase in the operating profit.
