There is a list of companies; the shares of those were among the most active in France today.

Alcatel-Lucent SA (ALU FP) mounted up 2.8 percent to 2.15 Euros, growing for the third day. The shares prices were raised due to its increased demand, initiated by the add at Alphavalue by equity analyst Jean-Michel Salvador.

France’s largest bank, BNP Paribas SA (BNP FP) also climbed up by 3.3 percent to 49.57 Euros.

The country’s second-biggest bank by market value, Societe Generale SA (GLE FP) rose 3.2 percent to 38.78 Euros.

Renault SA (RNO FP), which is France’s second-biggest automaker, ascended 2.9 percent to 33.1 euros. On account of European Government incentives and resurgent emerging markets prompted demand, its first quarter’s sales rose by 22%, as told by the company.

Rising for a fifth day, Faurecia SA (EO FP) jumped 3.3 percent. This Europe’s biggest car interiors maker will set up joint ventures with Chinese companies Geely and Limin, to supply interior systems and automotive exteriors to all Geely brands in China.

As crude prices heightened up for a second day in New York, Europe’s second-biggest oil producer, total SA (FP FP), improved by 2.2 percent to 38.04 Euros.

UBS AG raised the share to “buy” from “neutral”.

On account of the performance of these companies, the France’s benchmark CAC 40 Index augmented to 54.81, or 1.6 percent, to 3,538.3 in Paris.

The rise in the SBF 120 index was 1.5 percent.
