Responding to the objection raised by Shiite militant party Hezbollah over the mention of the word terrorism in the agreement observed between France and the Lebanon villages, France said that it has confidence in the pact.

In addition, the UN envoy to Lebanon said the tensions between the duos; seem to be fading away with the two reaching an agreement on Thursday.

"This is a classic agreement like those France's Interior Minister has already signed with our foreign partners", said French Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Bernard Valero.

In the beginning of this month, the Lebanon villagers confiscated the weapons possessed by the French troopers in the region.

They also destructed the patrol leader of these troopers working under the supervision of United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

The agreement expects the two nations to counter terrorism in both the nations, by offering full cooperation to each other.

The agreement was reached by France and Lebanon on January 21 in Paris.

Hezbollah has raised objection against the text mentioned in the accord, which aims at defining terrorism.

Meanwhile, special coordinator for Lebanon Michael Williams said the conditions in the southern region will soon be under control and peace will be restored.
