Flight Steward Booked for Theft at Flight

French police have booked an Air France stewardess under the charges of stealing credit cards, cash money and jewelry lying in the luggage of the travelers on Friday.

She was arrested on the tarmac at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. A case was initiated as early as Sunday after the theft was confirmed by the offenders.

As mentioned in a report published in one of the national publications, the steward is 47 years old. She bagged the money and other valuables from the luggage of business class travelers in the flights scheduled from Paris to Asia.

Further investigations confirmed that the defaulter has been involved into thefts since March 2009. She said that she explained that she committed these acts as she suffered monetary difficulties.

Prior to this, the case emerged at the forefront in January this year after more than five passengers reportedly lost their 4,000 Euros in foreign currency.

Le Figaro reported that a number of passengers had spotted the steward stealing the stuff.
