French Shares Jump at Paris Stock Exchange

The French CAC 40 Index surged 53.99, or 1.4%, to 3,516.07 at the Paris stock exchange, as recorded at 10:13 a. m. today.

In addition, the SBF 120 Index also soared 1.3%.

Meanwhile, the Accor SA stocks jumped 4.2% to 24.15 Euros, reaching its maximum level since May.

Accor is essentially the biggest hotel group in Europe. It posted a 6% rise in the revenues over the first half of the year. The revenue surge amounted to 2.85 billion Euros.

Nonetheless, shares in Aufeminin. com SA climbed 4 percent to 16.5 Euros, gaining the maximum since April 2008. Its revenues for the first half of the year reached 19.2 million Euros from 13.6 million Euros in the preceding year.

In addition, LVL Medical Groupe SA rose 2.5% to 16.09 Euros, reporting its peak level since April. It is a supplier of medical equipment. The revenue generated by the company over the first 9 months jumped to 113.9 million Euros from 99.8 million Euros in the previous year.

In another development, Orpea SA reported a 2.9% to 32.1 Euros surge in stocks, attaining highest level since June and witnessing a 16% increment in the sales in the earlier half of the year.
