There is bad news for the France’s Team of Soccer. Its two influential players Franck Ribery and Karim Benzema have been barred by the French Football Federation to be a part of the national team in 2010 world Cup, till their case of affair with prostitute gets resolved.
Fernand Duchaussoy, the future Director of FFF, stated that the players cannot be selected, till they get finished with their investigation process.
The previous President, Jean-Pierre Escalettes of FFF resigned on account of failure of France in the World Cup campaign. The new Director will be elected tomorrow.
Ribery has played 48 times for the team and Benzema for 27 times.
Benzema and Ribery have been accused of having relationship with a minor woman aging below 18, naming Zahia.
In an interview, Zahia told that she was having relations with a number of players of the national team, whom she met at a Paris nightclub. She also added that she never disclosed that she was below 18.
Though, prostitution is legal in France, but for those under 18, it is illegal.
The Ribery’s lawyer, Sophie Bottai declined the allegations, as the player was not aware of the prostitute’s age. While, Benzema’s lawyer, Sylvain Cornier nullified his client’s relation with Zahia.
As per recent reports, it has been revealed that a shootout has taken place in South Sedan, which is known as the world's newest nation. Shootout took place at a meeting that was held at Unity State to end cattle dispute.
