Aron Embry of Cedar Hills, Texas in US has claimed that Motorola Droid, which he had purchased two days earlier, exploded without any reason while he was getting into his car.

In an interview to Fox4 in Dallas Fort-Worth he said, "I heard a pop. I didn't feel any pain initially. I pulled the phone down. I felt something dripping. I realized that it was probably was blood."

He also said that when he went into this bedroom and saw the mirror and saw it, he only then noticed that the screen of his phone was cracked outwards.

Mr. Embry then went to see his wife, who works as a teacher and she called for help. The phone even though has cracked screen, is still functioning. Motorola has responded by saying that it is trying to contact him to know more about the incident.

Some are speculating that he might have been holding the device two tightly as Motorola devise are not known to have blown up.
