Juan Martin on Quick Recovery

Grand Slam title holder, Juan Martin Del Potro, has been reported to be recovering from the injuries and he is expected to return to the field soon.

Despite suffering an injury on his right wrist since January, he was seen included in the interim list of the US Open by the United States Tennis Association.

The Grand Slam event has been scheduled for 30th September.

“Del is likely to come back to the major championship after skipping the French Open as well as the grass court Grand Slam tournament this season", said USTA.

The tennis star bagged his first title by winning five times at the United States Open tournament.

The 21-year-old is from Argentina. He has been suffering the wrist injury since last Grand Slam season. He had to take back his name two times from Shanghai Masters in October.

Following this, he had to move off from the Australian Open championship in January. He underwent a surgery in May.

He currently rates 7th at the ATP charts.

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal has been rated number one in the latest ATP charts.

Along with Del Potro, Rafael and Federer have also been included in the interim list by the USTA.
