Samsung, the South Korean Electronic Company, is releasing its Android 2.2 updates in France and the rest of the Western World, by the fall of 2010, with reports hovering around the release taking place particularly in September, which is after its release in Korea.

The bad news regarding the delay disappointed Samsung Galaxy S users, who expected the updates by August. These expectations aroused after Samsung confirmed the announcement that Froyo would be available at the Korean Company by August. Costumers anticipated that it would hit the "worldwide" market by the same time.

Although, Samsung has not made any promises to its customers, the Company's series of confirmations that it will be acquiring the updates by summer, created buried hopes in the eager costumers.

Samsung Galaxy S is a potent mobile phone device, ranking as one of the best Android phones launched in 2010. Samsung Galaxy S operates Samsung's TouchWIZ UI, giving the users a direct home screen access to internet services, as social networks, weather, calendar, etc.

Moreover, the phone is applied with a 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA touchscreen, which is not as big as the one found in Motorola Droid X, a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, WiFi connectivity, and Bluetooth 3.0.
