Blackpool Confirms Signing Of Four New Players

Blackpool has finally moved into the pool of transfer market, and has also confirmed the joining of four new players today, ahead of the set up of the new Premier League campaign over the weekend.

Young Northern Irishman, Craig Cathcart has signed a three year deal with the Tangerines from Manchester United, with the option of further years. The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Midfielder Ludovic Sylvestre, 26, has signed a deal from Czech outfit Mlada Boleslav and the former Barcelona and Sparta Prague man has signed a deal for two years.

A two year deal has also been signed by French winger Elliot Grandin, who is 22 year old and he will be arriving from CSKA Sofia. He also has experience of top flight in France with Olympique Marseille.

Another French midfielder, Malaury Martin aged 21 has signed a one year deal on a free transfer from AS Monaco. He had been on a trial for last month at the Lancashire club.
