Carla Bruni’s Character Assassinated by Iranian Website

Carla Bruni and French actress Isabelle Adjani are being denounced by an Iranian news website after they held support for the 43-year-old Iranian mother of two, Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife, Carla Bruni was called ‘immoral’, and a hard-line Kayhan newspaper branded Bruni a ‘prostitute’, on Saturday. Bruni and Isabelle had extended help when an Iranian woman was being sentenced to death by stoning.

The Government-run Iran group of news outlets, www. inn. ir said that on reviewing Bruni’s background, one could very well confirm her immorality.

"Her record clearly shows why this immoral woman has supported an Iranian woman who has been convicted of committing adultery and of being an accomplice in her husband's murder”, website www. inn. ir showed.

The same website also identified her as a husband cheater. These two media outlets showed resentment after Bruni happened to sign a petition for the release of Mohammadi-Ashtiani. Mohammadi-Ashtiani is the same lady whose death sentence has resulted in generating an international outcry.

Getting involved in the murder of her husband, Mohammadi-Ashtiani was sentenced for a 10 year imprisonment and was also sentenced to death. Kayhan wrote that Bruni had somehow managed to break into the Sarkozy family and was at present dating a singer. Prior to this the newspaper is said to have insulted many other Iranian and foreign personalities like Esfandiar Rahim Mashaie and Nobel peace winner Shirin Ebadi.
