Zinedine Zidane and former teammate Laurent Blanc from 1998 World Cup winning team, would be teaming up together in order to help the National side on Friday in the opening tie of Euro 2012 qualifier against Belarus.
The French team would be playing on their home turf and according to the team that has appeared on paper, it looks like the most potent in their group, though they would face stiff competition from Romania and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The team which suffered a major setback in this year's World Cup would be looking to leave all the memories behind and concentrate on the opener.
The team would miss Jeremy Toulalan, Franck Ribery and the team captain Patrice Evra as they have been suspended for their involvement in a strike during training as a mark of protest for sending Nicolas Anelka home from the World Cup; Anelka had abused former coach Raymond Domenech at half-time of the World Cup tie against Mexico, which the team had lost.
Zidane, Blanc, Alain Boghossian, and Fabien Barthez who teamed up together in the historic 1998 World Cup, did not fail to try their level best at infusing energy in the training camp, which was being held on Wednesday, to prepare for the Euro 2012 Qualifier opener against Belarus.
Zidane later travelled to Madrid, to offer a cheque worth 150,000 Euros for a charity that is involved in treatment for people suffering with brain disorders.
As per recent reports, it has been revealed that a shootout has taken place in South Sedan, which is known as the world's newest nation. Shootout took place at a meeting that was held at Unity State to end cattle dispute.
