Rosette Goldstein, a Florida resident has established that during World War II her father was pushed into cattle train and was driven to his death by the French authorities.
And now as the public meeting in Orlando on the $2.6 billion high-speed rail project, is approaching near, Goldstein plans to voice her hostility on the behalf of many Holocaust survivors to the railway. This public meeting is being held by the Florida Department of Transportation for the railway which connects Tampa and Orlando.
The French national railway line, the SNCF is getting into conflict as an outcome to the role played by the Company of transporting Jews to Nazi death camps.
Goldstein, 71, residing in Boca Raton asserts that she would never pay taxes to the Company, which once supported the Nazis and had transported them to the place where they were to be murdered.
Several legislators, including people like Goldstein demand that the railway should formally apologize for the role that it had played in the war.
"We plan to have a full disclosure of our records and complete transparency. The fact is many railway workers were killed by Nazis, many were bullied and the company was under control of an occupied Government”, said Peter Kelly, an American-based attorney for SNCF.
As per recent reports, it has been revealed that a shootout has taken place in South Sedan, which is known as the world's newest nation. Shootout took place at a meeting that was held at Unity State to end cattle dispute.
