Carla Bruni and France’s Checkered History

Carla Bruni and France’s Checkered History

On Tuesday, a state-run Iranian paper that tagged Carla Bruni, who is the first lady of France, as prostitute, confirmed to have meant exactly the same meaning that it actually means.

The next day, on Wednesday, British newspapers sent in a report stating that the French publisher, Flammarion was ready to publish a confession on Bruni’s life, which ranges from her secret lovers to the number of plastic surgeons that she may have visited to enhance her beauty.

The Telegraph was informed by Bruni’a attorneys that they were willing to see the book make it to the market this month, which is rumored to contain all the thorough details about on-and-offs of her life.

However, the French seem to be hardened to the scandals and if the book really marks a wave of ripple, is yet to be seen.

Flammarion is sure that the damning details of the woman, who claimed that being married to just one man was boring to her when she appeared for an interview, which was prior to tying the knot with divorced President of France, will be ‘something’ to look for.

Comparing the news with the politics in America, this book will surely spark off a number of discussions.

Bruni’s news will only add another feather to the cap of already plaid history of France’s politico setting.
