Walnuts among Healthiest Nuts

Walnuts among Healthiest Nuts

US scientists have proved that out of all the nuts that are available, it is the walnuts that are the healthiest and advised that they should be eaten more often.

The study was done by the scientists at Pennsylvania and they asked the American Chemical Society that walnuts are good for health because they contain very high level of antioxidants.

These bodies are something that are said to protect the body against diseases.

That is not all the scientists also added that even though all the nuts are full of nutritional value, walnuts are the healthiest as compared to the others in the same family- peanuts, almonds, pecans and pistachios.

Analysis the study, Dr Joe Vinson, from the University of Scranton said that while doing this study they had taken into consideration nine different nuts. In the end they were able to find out that just a handful of nuts had twice the level of antioxidants than the other commonly eaten nuts.

Also, these antioxidants are found to be 2-15 times more powerful as vitamin E. This vitamin is known to protect the body against natural diseases.
