IATA Expected to Launch Hi-Tech Security Check Device

The International Air Transport Association, introduced the “ Checkpoint of the Future “ in the Singapore, it was a 20 feet long electronic device which could easily scan the human body, luggage’s , liquids and any kind of explosives. The device can make security check formalities at a faster rate and the passengers will not have go through the time consuming and inconvenient methods of security checks.

With the new security features, the airlines hope to regain the appreciation of the passengers. Moreover, IATA expects the airlines industry was expected to meet a fall of $4 billion from $18 billion last year. As per the IATA, the passengers will be classified by the government risk assessment and a chip, eye scanner and other identification marks will be placed in the passengers passport as a measure of security check. And the passengers with low –risk to the security will be allowed to directly walk through the tunnel along with their luggage, the security screening time will reduce to a few minutes which earlier use to be 35 minutes.

Although, the airline executives were in doubts whether the authorities can depend upon new system and will it able to replace human observation effectively or not
