It has been reported that the Terry Fox Run for cancer has been organized 31st time at Terry Foxes’ hometown in Port Coquitlam. About 3, 500 participants took part in the event as they got themselves registered for the race in the morning.

In the event, Terry’s father Rolly Fox also took part. It has been reported that Terry’s mother this year succumbed to death while fighting against cancer. Since the launch of the event, the Terry Fox Foundation has raised $550 million. The money raised by the foundation is directed towards cancer research.

The event was welcomed by many disable people, who were joined by enthusiastic and strong participants like Terrion who has been taking part in the run scene he was just 11 years old. It has been informed that Terrison in
1990 took part in the walk which begun from Edmonton and concluded at Prince Edward Island.

However in Sunday’s walk, about thousands of participants took part in the 3-km run with the aim of raising money for cancer patients. Besides, there were other walks as well which included strollers, two-wheeled scooter race in which toddlers with the help of their parents took part.
