Vauxhall Astra GTC Assures Tough Fight to VW Scirocco

In a strategic move, the sporty three-door Vauxhall Astra GTC has been unveiled in the market against the VW Scirocco. Though there are many tough competitors for the GTC like Shelsey Walsh and Loton Park I, but the makers are keen to give a tough fight to the Volkswagen Scirocco.

The makers are told to be too confident that this time even manufacturers of Audi A3 would have to put accept that the GTC is indeed a great piece of excellence. It's being believed that the GTC has the same aura what used to have gripped the Astra Coupe, and the Sport Hatch.

Having a longer wheelbase (+10mm), wider tracks (+40mm front, +30mm rear) and a lower ride height (-15mm), the car assures a memorable experience for drivers. The car is told to have ample boot space for those who are too particular about this. Those who have seen it in and out are pleased with the way the interiors have been designed keeping the tastes of high class people in mind.

Adding more to it are perfect Bolstered sports seats and leather trim on the steering wheel along with door panels which can helps in enhancing the appearance of the interior. Furthermore, it's being said that the car has been designed with astute look that every single feature is worth appreciating.

Having suspension 15mm lower along with a much wider front and rear track, it has been seen that the wheelbase is too flexible to add cornering agility. It has options for six engines, including petrol units with 1.4 liters with either
119 or 138bhp to a 1.6 turbo of 177 horses, while diesel engine has 1.7 litres capacity with 109 and 128bhp.

As far as pricing is concerned, the GTC is told to have starting price of £18,495, which is £1,350 than the price quoted for the Scirocco.
