It has been revealed in a recent report that the International Consolidated Airlines company is soon going to make efforts to reach the goal of €1.5 billion in operating profit. They have set the goal for the year 2015, and are going to pour in huge investments for attaining the same.
They are going to put in a sum of €7.65 billion for the next four years for upgrading and overhauling their services, and this is going to make them reach their set goal in the time to come.
The firm revealed that they are going to incur these profits with the help of generated savings from a merger with the Iberia Airlines in Spain and British Airways. They are of the hope of being able to save a sum of €400 million each year, for the next four years to be able to attain this level of profit.
IAG is expecting an operating profit of 1.5 billion Euros in the next four years, and they plan of making all the necessary changes in their plan of action for the same. Their overhauling is going to make way for changes and will tell the firm exactly, where they need to put in their money to get the desired results.
The merger is expected to garner them greater profits as well as more savings, which will certainly help them achieve the sort of heights they are planning to move up to.
It has been expected that the capacity grows by 2.25% in the time to come, making the airline firm able to serve more people at a time, and expand their business while aiming for the humongous operating profit.
