Amelia Lily from the X-Factor has braved singing a hit Lady Gaga number in the show recently and has been praised a lot by the audience.

Though she was the underdog earlier, she has now appeared to be one of the strong contenders of the show now.

It was an emotional time when Amelia performed at her old school in Middleborough. She revealed that she wasn't really popular with her schoolmates. They thought she was weird because of her love for rock music and eccentric ways of dressings. She also revealed that it was back to be back there performing for her school and seeing how the girls were now so supportive of her.

She recalls how she was always the odd one out. She revealed that people never understood her sense of style because it was so different from others and this is why they kept away from her.

"Now it's like they understand why I was like that. I was meant to be an artist, a singer. It was hard, we were only young. When you're young you don't understand - it all makes more sense to me now", she added further.

She was wearing pink colored faux fur that complimented her hair; and together with her was mentor Kelly Rowland.

She is the youngest female contests to have come so far in the show and this is something that has given her confidence and has also made her that extra-bit cautious. She is working hard though, and will surely hit her goal in the time to come.
