It has been recently revealed that Beyonce Knowles, who is surely beaming with her pregnancy, has been sued by a gaming company. The name of the firm is Gate Five and they have slapped a claim of $100 million on the star singer, because she walked out from a project she was to do with them last year.

This was a dance game project and the firm as imposed a fine on her for having abandoned it. She has placed a request for the dismissal of the lawsuit, but it was rejected by the Supreme Court Judge Mr. Charles Ramos.

The company Gate Five is f the view that the fact that she walked out on their project has caused them a loss of $7 million, which had been invested by them for the project. It has also meant they lose the chance of making about $100 million in profits. It has further cased 70 people to be made redundant merely a week before Christmas.

The judge, on the other hand, cancelled Beyonce’s request for dismissal of the claim, and this means that she is going to have to pay the huge of money to the company.

What the game firm is further hoping for is to get an injunction that would mean she won’t be able to work with any more gaming firms in future. This is some stress that she would need to keep herself distracted from, for the sake of her baby. She is pregnant with her first child, with her husband Jay Z, and is beaming happy about it, though this lawsuit must’ve spoilt the perfection of the festive season a bit.
