The coming Auto Expo 2012 would be filled with great excitement and admiration as about 60 cars with new models and upgradation are being launched by the manufacturers. This time the car manufacturers are focusing upon creating quality products.

All the car manufacturers have tried to come up with something new and unique whether it is about the features of cars or price tags. The customers need not to be worried as the prices of the products have been set keeping in mind the downward slope of the economy.

It has been informed that Maruti Suzuki would be introducing two new models, Ertiga MUV and a concept compact SUV. Both the models are said to be belonging to non-small car categories. The Managing Executive Officer of Maruti Suzuki, Mayank Pareek, said that the company is planning to expand its horizons by introducing Ertiga MUV and a concept compact SUV. Ertiga segment is at the moment not available in India and therefore, it will be a task of the marketing leaders to make room for it amidst steep competition.

Volkswagen would also be coming up with a new car under the price tag of more than 20 lakh. Neeraj Garg from Volkswagen Group Sales India was reported as saying, “Our brand is still at a nascent stage of awareness so we wanted a brand building tool for the Auto Expo. The Beetle is our most iconic product and the best vehicle to create brand awareness”.

At the same time, the customers would also be thrilled with the introduction of BMW’s Mini Cooper and its rival Mercedes Benz would showcase its B-Class premium hatchback. If the market conditions remain conducive to the car manufacturer then there are higher chances of them booking fruitful profits.
