Gasoline Prices on the Rise

Gasoline Prices on the Rise

In a recent report, it was revealed that there is no halt to the rising price of gasoline as it was seen rising on Friday. With average value around over $4 in six states, it is going to be a tough time for people in the time to come, said AAA, Wright Express and Oil Price Information Service.

With retail gasoline price seen at a national average of $3.831 per gallon, it sends a clear signal that cost of living is going to rise now. If reports are to be believed, gasoline has seen a jump of nearly 56 cents per gallon since Jan
1, thereby beating its previous records. There are fair chances that the nationwide average can increase to $4.25 by the end of April.

Moreover, the Labor Department confirmed that inflation was seen normal in February and even there was no major change observed in food prices. However, the rising energy prices are surely going to make things a lot difficult for people.

With gas prices giving no breather to consumers, it would not be wrong to say that there could be some spending cuts in other sectors as consumers would have to manage their budget amid the global constraints.
