Pill for Removing Radiations from Beverages

In a recent development aimed at making beverages radiation free, it has been claimed recently that scientists have successfully manufactured a capsule which is quite effective in removing radiation from beverages.

As declared at the 243rd National Meeting & Exposition of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the capsule meant for removing radiations from the beverages is used in a very effective manner by simply dropping it into milk, water, fruit juices and a variety of other food items for the sake of removing in excess of a dozen of radioactive substances.

The developers of the capsule are anticipating that the technology can be effectively employed in a wide range of apps, ranging from large-scaled food processors to the consumers sitting back home or using the products in their kitchen.

While expressing his views in this regard, along with mentioning what all pros and cons can be expected due to it in the time to follow, the lead author of the study, Dr. Allen Apblett said in a recently released statement: “We repurposed and repackaged for radioactive decontamination of water and beverages a tried-and-true process that originally was developed to mine the oceans for uranium and remove uranium and heavy metals from heavily contaminated water”.

Dr. Apblett further added that the Fukushima nuclear disaster, which was coupled with Tsunami along with a wide range of concerns related to nuke terrorism, forced the firm into an impression wherein they were seen considering a variety of other critical issues aimed at an effective application of the technology in progress.

A large number of other metals, counting lead, arsenic, cadmium as well as various other heavy metals can also be effectively removed by making use of the recently developed capsule.

World’s Smallest Droplet Created by Physicists in Lab of Switzerland

As per a new release, Physicists in Switzerland claim to have created the smallest of drops of liquid. The scientists believe that the droplets would be able to lead to the further understanding of collective behavior. The short-lived droplet is equivalent to 100,000th the size of a hydrogen atom and about the size of three to five protons....
