It has been uncovered by a new report that Tel Aviv-based Dragonplay, which was founded by Sharon Tal in 2010, has been planning to expand itself on Android and Facebook.

The report has found that the company, which is known for its best selling game Live Hold’em Poker Pro, has received a funding of $14 million for mobile social games. The company has been aiming at making card, casino and board games.

As per the findings, the funding has been raised by Israeli social and mobile game startup. The list of investors comprises of Entrée Capital, Founder Collective and Accel Partners. Though, the money collected in the Series A funding for the startup is not less. It is comparatively lower than the amount invested by Accel in Rovio, Gameforge and Playfish.

Tal, who is the founder and Chief Executive of Dragonplay, has told that the company has been looking forward to a bigger market space, as the Accel team has supported many gaming companies and helped in their growth. “We are proud to be joining its portfolio and look forward to working with the team to make Dragonplay a truly global, cross-platform leader in our space”, he added.
