Rise in Sales of Hybrid and Electric Cars

Rise in Sales of Hybrid and Electric Cars

As per reports, it has been revealed that these days, people prefer to buy hybrid and electric cars over petrol and other fuel model cars. It seems that inflation is affecting the choice of buyers.

According to a report being prepared by Ward's AutoInfoBank, it has been found that hybrid cars and all-electric cars are quite a rage in America. The data further revealed that 52,000 gas-electric hybrids and electric cars were sold.

The number is 34,000 high than last month. Industry experts said that they have never seen such a rise in the sale figures before. It would not be wrong to say that these models are witnessing best sales of the time.

People, who have these care are quite satisfied and were of the view that their little cars are not less than any power house. Experts said that seeing the growth pattern, it seems that there will be a further rise in the number of sales. People having with big cars and SUVs will have to switch to these models, as they are easy to maintain.

Moreover, many reputed auto companies have realized the potential in such companies and this is the reason that they have either launched or are planning to launch hybrid and electric car models. If individual car sale is to be considered, then it has been found that the demand is not to such an extent that it can reduce the price of such cars.

“It's like the cell phone or the computer. When those technologies first came out, they were expensive and for a limited group. The people who are willing to pay more are willing to take a chance on the technology”, said Noto, who has been converting high-end automobiles to electric engines since a long time.
