It seems that there would have to be done a lot to ensure that the concerns expressed by residents who are living next to Bendigo Health’s housing development are being properly addressed. It was told that there are many residents who have come out to show their objection for the same, but the Bendigo council had cleared the same in the month of February.

"We're concerned as a good corporate citizen in Bendigo that we don't upset too many people, but nevertheless when we're something as large as this and something that's as important to Bendigo as this, we're bound to get some people that aren't too happy with the results”, said Bendigo Health's David Walker, while claiming that they are doing their best to ensure that whatever the concerns are shown, are being adequately listened and consequently, resolved too.

The project which is aimed to provide housing facility to doctors near the hospital has been worked on since the last two years and now, the project is all set to start. The project would build 96 one-bedroom units, 24 two-bedroom units and 122 off-street car parks. There are chances that the construction would be done away with, by mid next year.
