It has been recently revealed in a report that there is an awareness drive launched for making people aware for attending IVFs for the purpose of giving benefit gay couples. It was revealed according to the watchdog that the gay couples as well as women above the age of 40 years should be able to have an access to free IVF treatments. This is what makes it important for them to have regular IVF treatments in order to be able to have children

Critics are of the view that this would be a very negative step in these times when the economy of the country is facing such a downturn. However, the health authorities are of the view that this might be the best opportunity for them and the NHS should be willing to provide the same to the people in need.

“The NHS does not have enough money to go round. It’s just because someone’s sexual persuasion does not allow them to have children does not mean we have to kowtow to political correctness”, said Josephine Quintavalle, Director of campaign group Comment on Reproductive Ethics.
