It has been recently revealed in a report that there are three more cases found of the E. Coli disease that has been seen in the vicinity. This is in the nursery unity of a school, where there has been the suspected outbreak of this disease.
It was revealed by the NHS Grampian that there have been three more cases seen of the disease recently. There is need for more efforts to be made by the authorities to make sure that the entire area is properly disinfected, so that there aren’t any more cases seen of the disease in the future.
There are currently nine cases of the disease being treated. One of the kids who had been admitted with the disease has even been allowed to leave the hospital. It remains to be seen what steps are taken by the authorities to make sure that these circumstances don’t occur in the future and there aren’t any more cases seen of the disease in the time to come.
“We have contacted staff, parents and carers of all the children who attend the nursery and provided them with information about the ongoing investigation and the control measures that have been put in, and remain in place”, said a spokesperson from NHS Grampian.
