Bath Salts Is the New Drug

It has been recently revealed in a report that the health authorities of Canada have revealed how ‘bath salts’ might be a novel form of drugs, being circulated to the people of the vicinity.

It is actually a new synthetic drug, which is deemed to be illegal in major parts of the U. S. However, the drug is legal in Canada. The drug can be taken in a number of ways or forms. It might be snorted, injected, swallowed or smoked, as per the preferences of people.

"Those pills were sent away to Health Canada for analysis, and surprisingly they came not as ecstasy, but the main ingredient found in bath salts”, revealed Detective Sgt. Craig MacDougall of the Rothesay Regional Police.

Dr. Nancy Murphy, a medical director at the IWK Regional Poison Centre in Halifax said that this is a psychoactive drug and it can have many different sorts of effects on people. There is need for authorities to make sure that all such loopholes are removed from the system of prevention so that there aren’t any more cases of the same sort seen in the future.
