Amid lingering concerns about safety, it has been claimed that surgery at a Worcestershire hospital would be stopped. There have been concerns attached about how the operating theatre can be used for such crucial medical procedures and even there is dire need to raise more funds for equipment at Tenbury Community Hospital.

Confirming the same, Simon Trickett, Chief Operating Officer for South Worcestershire CCG, said: “We have temporarily suspended surgical activity at Tenbury Community Hospital following valid concerns over the ongoing safety of this service”.

With back to back issues bothering the concerned authorities, it has become all the more imperative that steps are being taken to address the issues. While there is no report as such about anyone putting to risk due to the same, there is need that efforts are made to ensure that no one gets affected by it.

Moreover, all other appointments would be shifted to Kidderminster Hospital but there will not be any change whatsoever in terms of date and time of each patient.

Furthermore, efforts would be made to ensure that there are ways and means being charted out to address the concern else patients would be left lurching for the same. There is need that safety of patients is being kept over and above all.
