A new smartphone app has come to cater to concerns expressed about asthma patients about how to track down their condition. In the name of AsthmaSense, the app is told to have a tracking system which helps one examining his condition.

It was announced by a medical technology firm, iSonea Ltd. that the new app would be able to help asthmatic patients a lot and that’s what is being called for since so long. One just needs to feed his or her asthma action plan and then the app would keen on reminding the user about how to monitor the health.

“iSonea is dedicated to developing innovative, easy-to-use devices and mobile apps that help improve asthma monitoring and management”, said Michael Thomas, chief executive officer of iSonea Ltd.

The app is told to have a feature called Journal, which would allow users to record symptoms, medication use, wheezes, and peak flows time to time. It would make things all the more easy for doctors too as they would be able to know the condition of a patient any point of time.

If the CDC or Center for Disease Control is to be referred, there are as many as 25 million asthmatics which make it all the more imeoprativwe that some sort of tracking system is being devised for serious patients.
