As per reports, it has been revealed that the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has been working with clinics, so that it can be ensured that they have been managing the vaccines properly.

The CDC started working with the clinics at the time when it got revealed through a report that many vaccines meant for children were not kept properly. Some of the medicines were not kept at the right temperature; either they were kept at very low temperature or at very high.

Experts have raised concerns on the same, and it has been said that children will not be benefitted to the desired level and there can be cases where children can develop side effect from the vaccines, which are not kept as per given instructions.

The American Academy of Pediatrics said that they support such kind of investigations and affirmed, "Encourages all practices to continue monitoring vaccine storage and handling according to [CDC program] guidelines and, where necessary, to take steps to regain compliance with those guidelines”.

The report revealed that 76% of the vaccine was kept at inappropriate temperatures and that too for more than two weeks. It was not known that any sort of action will be taken against the medicine management team or not.
