As per recent reports, it has been exclaimed that a 9-year -old girl has been pricked by a syringe needle as she slipped between bed sheets in a room of Aberdeen motel.
However, manager of the motel has exaggerated that he has no idea of how the syringe ended up in the bed. However, parents of the girl are worried and concerned that their daughter might have contracted a deadly infection like HIV or hepatitis. Moreover, the tests conducted would take months to confirm, whether she is infected or not.
The girl’s mother, Angie Smith asserted that her daughter Emily got pricked by the needle in the right heel at GuestHouse Inn and Suites. She said, “There were syringes, plastic bag, and bloody bandage, all underneath the mattress cover. We were really shocked and freaking out”.
However, it has been recovered that it was the manager Angel Housden, who urged that police should be called, after family members of the girl refused.
Police officials reported that they discovered two syringes from the upper bunk bed and then put them in a plastic bag and took it further to hospital for tests.
However, Mr. Housden explained that father of the girl was reluctant to move to another room and also asked for free stay at the motel.
