As per recent findings, it has been subjected that a British astronaut has been appointed to be a part of an asteroid mission, which is proposed to be taking place at bottom of ocean.

It has been reported that Major Tim Peake will be a member of NASA’s team, which is recently working on its latest Neemo voyage to underwater lab, which is located near Key Largo, Florida.

It has been recovered that Major Tim will be spending 12 with his crewmates at the lab, to test new technology tools and techniques, which would be best suitable for real mission to space rock.

It has been recovered that astronauts have been trained underwater since a long time, so that they can replicate the weightlessness of working in orbit, however, this latest Neemo expedition has something else in store, it has taken the idea to an advanced level, by allowing crew to stimulate long periods off Earth but without leaving the planet.

Major Tim, a former British Army Air Corps helicopter pilot, explained: “It's an excellent analogue for what we do in space”.

Future plans of NASA suggest that they are planning to send a huge rocket attached with a manned capsule to an asteroid near about in 2020s.
