It seems that there is going to be tough times ahead of Sisterly Care in Havant, Hampshire, after it was unveiled by Care Quality Commission (CQC) that there are some serious concerns in the care home. The CQC has made it very clear that in case no improvement is being made in the procedures set for giving out medicines, there would be dire consequences for the same including heavy fines.
There is need to make some changes in the regularity of carers and that’s what has been made clear too. It was in the end of the month April that inspection was done by the care regulator and subsequently, four notices were issued.
It was also found that the treatment and support Sisterly Care is offering is not up to the set mark and is not even in sync with protection of rights. There is need to do a lot before things would become all the more safe for those who are using the service at Sisterly Care.
Nonetheless, it is also required that frequent inspections are being made so that such practices can be avoided in the first place. It would be interesting to see what all changes are being made by the care home in question in the time to come as per the instructions given by CQC.
