In the past years, there have been many cases that have come up in Frenchay Hospital in Bristol with children being burned by hair straighteners. The hospital has treated over 110 children till date. Now the experts have come out and issue a warning in to the dangers associated with hair straightners.

The metal plates between which a person put their hair in order to straighten them, can heat up to 230c. If accidently that touches any part of a person body then that body part can get serious burn injury.

Experts demonstrated the hazards of the irons by frying eggs on them. The metal plates can reach up to 230c. Parents have been advised not let the children use these hair straighteners and be aware of the dangers associated with them.
