Race For Life Calls For More Women

There is need for more and more women to come forward to and join the Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, which is to be held at Hudson’s Field. There are mere two weeks left for the closure of the registration and that’s what calls for pacing up the process of roping in more women for the race.

As of now, some 1,900 women have got themselves registered for the 5k women-only event on July1. All those who are very much keep being a part of this noble event must not waste much time and get themselves registered.

“We still have places left for the Salisbury event but we are reminding women who want to take part at this venue that they must enter as soon as possible, before registration closes”, said Event Manager Sam Beare, who was excited seeing the enthusiasm of the participants.

It has further been told that women can take part in any event like walk, jog or run the 5k route so that they can extend their bit towards the noble cause. While in last year, there was as much as £100, 000b raised, there are expectations that a lot more would be able to collect this time for those who are victims of cancer.
