Faye Turns Inspiration For Others At Haydock Park

In a recent report, it has been claimed that there were some 2,000 who took part in the Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life at Haydock Park, on Sunday. Among the participants, Faye Sixsmith also made the attempt to extend help to the noble cause.

It has been known that the 25-year-old from Rainford had bravely battled a rare form of leukaemia and that’s what caught the attention of one and all. Her story also found space on the Star’s front page last week. “I always feel humble and lucky to be taking part in the event. There are so many stories; every family seems to have known someone affected by this terrible disease”, said Faye, who has all words of thanks to those who remained with her and kept her moral boosted through this tough face of life. Her courage must have inspired many others like her to shed their fear and pay attention to what more they can do to bring change in one’s life.

There is need for such events to be conducted often so that more and more funds can be raised for cancer victims. Organizers of the event have applauded and thanked all those who came forward to take part in the charity walk.
