Bizarre news, a two year old boy compelled to move, even after broken knee, for two weeks, as hospital doctors sent him back terming it as psychological. Investigation has been issued by hospital.
Detailed reports suggest that it was in May, when the little boy, Archie Eldridge injured his right leg during gymnastics. X-ray reports of the boy revealed that he had a hairline fracture, just below his knee and was temporarily plastered. However, after 10 days, the boy was examined by a specialist, who analyzed his x-ray reports and suggested that there is no need of the plaster and hence, removed it.
Mum Natasha, 33, stated that the doctor informed her that there is no fracture in the right leg of the boy and that he can walk. However, she emphasized that Archie was unable to walk properly and was not able to put any weight on his right limb.
However, despite that the doctor affirmed that it was psychological and that within few more days, the boy would start walking completely.
After that Archie was discharged from Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, Kent, with plaster removed and doctor even didn’t ask out to show up Archie again.
However, Archie was not moving properly, so he was taken to hospital again. It emerged that the doctor had misdiagnosed the boy.
