In a recent statement released, NASA scientists claimed that Voyager will be soon moving out of the solar system. It has been reported that till date, two Voyagers have been sent into space, including Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, the first one being launched in 1977.

Initial voyager was launched to explore Jupiter and Saturn, thereafter the mission was extended and voyager 2 was sent to explore Uranus and Neptune. Till date, no satellite has visited these planets.

Current status of the twin Voyagers suggest that they are exploring, where nothing from earth has ever reached. They are now in Heliosheath - the outermost layer of the heliosphere where the solar wind is slowed by the pressure of interstellar gas.

Further, it has been notified that both the Voyagers are sending scientific information about their surroundings through the Deep Space Network (DSN).

It has been unveiled that the information sent acknowledges more regarding charged particles, which are formed due to stars transforming into supernovas.

However, Ed Stone, Voyager project scientist at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, said “The laws of physics say that someday Voyager will become the first human-made object to enter interstellar space, but we still do not know exactly when that someday will be”.
