16-Foot Cactus Topples On Arizona City Worker

A recent report showed how a 16ft (5m) saguaro cactus fell on a city worker, leaving him crushed badly. He as of now is in intensive care. It was told that William Mason was working there to repair an emergency water leak when that tragic accident happened. As soon as his co-workers noticed, they immediately freed him.

Commonly found in the US south-west, the tree is reported to be very heavy and its weight a lot depends on how much water it can actually hold. So far, doctors have managed to remove 150 cactus spines from him. He has injured his legs and back in this accident and it would certainly take some time more before he can be completely fine.

“We'll have to see how the surgery goes to learn the extent of his injuries. It was a horrible accident. He's in very serious condition. We don't even know if he will live. We're all praying for him”, said his mother-in-law, Caroline Ashley, who lives in Arkansas.

In response to the same, City Administrator Greg Wilkinson has assured complete help to the family of the victim. As of now, investigations are going on to know what caused cactus to topple on the man.
