Marie Curie’s New 10k Walks in UK

Along with a series of previous events to show support to cancer patients, the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity has yet again decided to organize a summer evening walk in Croome Park on Saturday, August 25, a report has unveiled recently.

The walk of 10k is a part of the long chain of unique Walk Ten events currently being held in the UK at almost 25 locations. Everyone from the community is being urged to participate in the walk that costs just £10 per person for registration.

Niall O’Connor, Rugby star along with Carolyn Stewart, a DJ and presenter, have even put on their walking shoes so as to attract more and more people to join the event.

The move, which is being made to raise funds for the charity whose nurses provide fully free care to terminally ill people at home, includes a lot of fun in it. To start at 6pm, the walk followed by live music, fireworks and a delicious food would refresh people as well as pay regards to Marie Curie Nurses.

As per the findings, similar events are also planned at other places, including Stormont Estate to see it on August 31 and August 17 has been decided for the Ulster American Folk Park.
