Girl, 2, Dies of Rare Cancer

It has been revealed in a new report that Sadie Rose Clifford, 2, who was suffering from a rare form of cancer, has died on Monday, when doctors simply showed helplessness to treat her anymore.

Despite a number of efforts by her doctors as well as the public to save her life of the deadly cancer, the girl from Knaresborough, North Yorkshire lost her fight.

Neuroblastoma is a type of cancer that grows from nerve tissue, the report has found, which usually affects children only. Symptoms may include sick feeling, weight loss, fever or pain. Also, the disease is not limited to any one particular area of the body, while it can affect many parts.

The girl had tended to develop the cancerous tumour throughout her body, according to doctors’ say. And thus, even after huge donations by her town members, who had set up a cancer treatment fund for her, along with complete efforts of hospital, her family lost her.

The Just Giving appeal had collected a total of more than £400,000 for her cure. Astonishingly, her death has not affected the donations as the same are still being received. Her family claims that these donations would now go for other child sufferers.
