Red Nose Day Celebrating Its 25th Anniversary

Sudden infant death syndrome has taken the lives of many infants. Every year, a number of infants are either still born or dies while sleeping. The medical experts have not yet been able to find a concrete cause behind their deaths.

Every year, Red Nose Day is celebrated which aims at supporting families who have experienced death of infants and to prevent sudden death cases. This year, the Red Nose Day will complete its 25 years.

This year, police officers would also be taking part in the event to help families. Senior Sergeant Stewart Day, said, “It's something very close to a lot of officers' hearts and we fully support the program to help reduce further incidents”.

The Red Nose Day was celebrated for the first time in 1987. Since then, the event has helped in saving lives of 7,500 infants in Australia. There are many families who have been suffering the loss of their babies. It is hoped that the Red Nose Day will continue supporting such families, in the coming years as well.

Families finding it hard to cope-up with life after losing their child can come to the organizers of Red Nose Day at any time for help.
