Mexican doctors have made a big success by freeing a two year old toddler from his 15 kilogram benign tumor.

Baby Jesus Rodriguez was only 12 kg whereas he was carrying a 15 kg tumor on the right side of his body growing down from his armpit to his hip. He is a resident of Duragno in Northern Mexico.

He initially had a benign lump on his body but soon that grew into a big size tumor, which fortunately has now been removed by a team of Mexican doctors at the La Raza hospital in Mexico City.

The team of doctors that performed the surgery included Dr. Gustavo Hernandez, Director of pediatrics at the La Raza hospital in Mexico City. The surgery was performed two weeks ago and ran for 10 long hours and finally the boy is now breathing a tumor free life.

Medics are confirming that the removed lump was massive and is one of the biggest tumors that have been removed from a human body till date. This is for the first time that a lump heavier than the weight of the patient has been operated and cut successfully.

Doctors have informed that the boy’s health is on a recovering side.
