It is certainly nothing less than a magic for the three-year-old South African girl, who was blessed with a new life after she suffered from some 80% burns. It was on New Year's Eve that Isabella 'Pippie' Kruger became victim of an accident her home in Johannesburg during a barbeque, thereby burning her skin terribly.

There were bleak chances of her to survive, but it seems that destiny had some different plans for the girl. She was put through a major skin operation, in which 41 pieces of skin were grafted onto her back, face, chest, arms and legs.

It has also been claimed by Surgeon Ridwan Mia, who is plastic and reconstructive surgeon that performed on the girl in a Johannesburg hospital, that the girl is recovering really well after the operation. Apparently, the skin was grown in a laboratory in Boston, Massachusetts after cells were harvested from Pippie's body. It was also considered that the skin is reached from America to South Africa in less than 24 hours as such skin doesn’t have life beyond 24 hours.

It was also told that since the time the girl was hospitalized, she had suffered from battled pneumonia and kidney failure along with several cardiac arrests.
