Now millions of Iowans will benefit insurance coverage. All thanks to the U. S. Supreme Court which has finally approved the federal health reform law in this regard.

But the bad thing about this insurance coverage is that there still exists confusion over its impact on future premiums. Due to this, a large number of questions have grown, pointing out towards state.

One of the major questions that hit the board is will poor also benefit from this joint federal and state health insurance program? According to the court, it is quite difficult for the federal government to compel such an expansion on states.

Well, Gov. Terry Branstad said that Iowa is not capable of offering this. This is something that Iowa can actually not afford.

Rest it has been left on to the state leaders. Now the ball is in their court. They have to decide their priority. If this law works, then it would generate hundreds of millions of federal dollars for benefiting approximately 150,000 Iowans.

Another important question was about the duration, in which this health insurance exchange program was expected to start. With the help of this electronic system, a large number of consumers would be able to not only purchase policies easily but they can even compare to opt for the best one. Answer to this, is still awaited.
